So, someone created a thread on emptees.com to make a collage of “thing’s you can’t live without” so after several minutes of brainstorming I had some fun!

T-Shirt Design For No Wings To Speak Of

So, as you can see all of my posts have been about no wings to speak of. They keep me on my toes and have me getting all their merchandise and materials ready for their spring tour and album release on march 25! So i did a design based on their album cover. I like the way it turned out even though I had to cut it down from 4-Color for the album cover to 3-colors for the shirt.

So, several very long days later we’ve finally settled and finished the final album art for No Wings to Speak Of. Man….what an experience! We went through three type treatments, two different backgrounds and several color changes. I’m excited to see this printed and in stores. So…for your viewing pleasure, here’s the final!

So, I’ve been informed by my good buddy Sam of No Wings To Speak Of that the Public Relations guy at their record label has told them they need to have their album art by next Thursday! So basically, I thought I had a month left and I am now up late for the first time in months making comps for the band to vote on tomorrow. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far. enjoy!

So, my food friend Sam Dean of Duluth, MN needed me to do a splash page for his body jewlery site Plug Your Holes Sam is a really cool guy in a hardcore band No Wings To Speak Of and I’ve done a lot of work for him over the last year. I was really happy with the end result. I did it fairly quickly and it didn’t need to be super elaborate for it just being a splash page.

A long Time Coming

So, It’s taken me about a year to finally sit down and remember to activate and start my blog. I’ve grown so much this year, both as a person and a designer. I think it’s only appropriate that for my first blog I show off some of my promo posters that I’ve done recently and that I’m really proud of. I will be updating this regularly with a lot of work I’ve done and with work as it’s completed! Let me know what you think.
